Our beloved sister, Gloria Dianne Wachtveitl, age 70, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away after a long courageous battle against brain cancer Monday, March 16, 2026.

Gloria was born on October 5, 1955, at the Oakland Navel Air Base in Alameda, CA to Anthony and Eunice Wachtveitl. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1974. She enlisted in the United States Army right out of High School and served 4 years active duty stationed overseas in Germany. Upon leaving the military, she worked as an appraiser, a title processor, and recently retired from the IRS.

Gloria's main hobby was participating in doll collecting with her mother; both were members of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.

Gloria is preceded in death by her father Anthony, mother Eunice, and sister Cheryl. She is survived by her brothers Donald, Kenneth, and David.

A private service is scheduled for March 26th. In lieu of flowers and condolences, the family encourages donations to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington.
