Gloria "The Fuchsia Lady" Foerester was born July 4th 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She passed away on December 26th 2015 in Stanwood WA.
Gloria moved to Washington in her early teens, lived and worked in Seattle. She began working as a furrier and co-owner of Foerester Fur. When she retired and moved to Camano island along with her family in 1990. It was then that Gloria took her love of gardening and began working in the local nursery where she worked until illness forced her to retire.
Gloria loved being with family, gardening, her animals, travel.
Gloria was proceeded in death by the love of her life, Gordon Foerester. She is survived by her daughter Jeri Richards and son in law Jim, grandchildren Jessica, Chris, Dawn and Crystal and 9 great grandchildren, Damien, Micaiah, Josiah, Elijiah, Reygann, Zayne, Johnathon, Lincoln and Tayden.
A pot luck and celebration of Gloria's life will take place on January 16th, 2016 at 1:00 P.m.at the Masonic Hall 27205 102nd ave nw Stanwood wa 98292. Please feel free to bring photos and/or a story to share or pass on to the family.
