Georgie Kotsovos, 42, of Stanwood, WA, passed away on December 29, 2023. He was born on July 23, 1981, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his loving parents Karen (Volpi) Kotsovos-Monroe and Christos Kotsovos. Georgie was a social person who cherished his friends and family dearly. He had a wide circle of friends on both coasts and was known for his love of music and the visual arts.

Georgie excelled in various artistic fields throughout his career. He was an expert in cinematography, film/video production, animation, interactive technology, video graphics, and commercial and advertising art. Georgie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his mother Karen (Volpi) Kotsovos-Monroe, stepfather Craig Monroe, father Christos Kotsovos, stepmother Victoria Kotsovos, brother Christos M. Kotsovos, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in New York, New Jersey, and Greece. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Volpi, uncle Andrea Kotsovos, grandmother Katherine Kotsovos, and grandfather George Kotsovos.

A private service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Seattle on Tuesday, January 9, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 2100 Boyer Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112.
