Gary Arlen Rogers, 79 Born on October 1, 1938 to June Loney Rogers and Alva Bascum Rogers, Gary grew up in Walla Walla, WA. He worked the family wheat farms, played baseball, and he skied the Blue Mountains. Gary loved skiing. His passion for the sport took him as a young man to Sun Valley, Idaho, where he ski-raced and began a life-long career in the ski industry. Gary took his business to Seattle, WA where he settled for many years, and he later semi-retired to Camano Island. Gary was a creative visionary, and he fostered a keen entrepreneurial spirit. He loved the open road, mountains, and people. Gary had close friends, the kind that last a lifetime. He loved his children, his grandchildren, his wives, his dogs, his Walla Walla family and his friends, and he is already greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held in early summer, in Gary's home town of Walla Walla.
