Franklin Joseph Burris, of Stanwood, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018. He grew up in Stanwood as a child and met his wife of 57 years, Sharon Bumgarner. After meeting Sharon they moved to Silver Lake to raise their family. Franklin had a lifelong career as a machinist and retired from Dresser-Rand. He also was an avid golfer and loved travelling with his wife. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marcella Burris, and Brother Fred Moody. Franklin is survived by his wife Sharon, sons; Brian Burris, Todd Burris (Kristie), daughter; Shelly Sneva (Darrin), 3 grandsons, Justin, Tyler, and Christopher, 2 granddaughters, Rachel and Becky, and lifelong friends Gary and Linda Greenleaf. There will be no services at this time.
