Doreen Alice Hafft
1926 - 2010

Doreen was born in Vancouver, B.C. 25 June 1926 and passed away 15 August 2010 after a brief stay in the hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward B. Hafft, as well as her two sisters, Mary and Norma. She is survived and will be dearly missed by a sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. Doreen was well known and respected in the business community, having had an accounting business for many years in Seattle. She will be lovingly remembered by all those fortunate to have known her as very caring and generous; she had a definite love of life and enjoyed her many parties at her home. Viewing will be held Wednesday, 1 September 2010, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood. A celebration of Doreen's life will be held Thursday, 2 September 2010 at 11:00 am at Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Stanwood, followed by a reception at Camano Island Senior Center, 606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano Island.
