David Douglas Grohs Sr., 77, of Stanwood Washington, passed away on May 7, 2018.

David was born in Seattle Washington.  He graduated from Highland High School and then from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in Business.  He married Ruth, July 11, 1964 and moved his family to Stanwood Washington in 1973. His greatest joys were simply being surrounded by his family, church family, and friends. He always loved to just sit back and watch the action no matter the setting. Family gatherings, vacations, attending his children and grandchildren's sports, school, and church events being among his favorites.

He is preceded in death by his son David Douglas Grohs Jr...  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruth Grohs, their daughters Tamara Grohs, Barbara McNaughton and Debara Holmes, their son Devin Grohs, his sister Carol Atienza, six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, May 24th, 2018 at Cedarhome Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Klein, officiating.  David will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery by his family.
