David Lee Benson passed away peacefully on April 7th at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories and lifelong friendships. Born in Woodstock, Illinois he moved to Seattle as a teen where he fell in love with sailing which he continued to enjoy into the last years of his life. He is survived by his daughter Kristin and companion Cheryl. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Camano Island Community Center, 606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano Island, WA on May 31st at 1pm to remember David, whose warm heart and sense of humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
