Obituary

Born in Arlington, WA, on March 10, 1929, Darlene (Sesby) Mostrom, surrounded by loving family at Warm Beach Care Center, was taken to be with the angels in heaven on August 19, 2010. She and husband, Bud Mostrom, were lifetime Stanwood residents, operating the Union Oil Bulk Plant for twenty-five years until their retirement
in l991.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald (Bud) Mostrom, grandson Christopher Torrence, and daughter Carolann Paydar. She will be missed more than mere words can express by her family: Nancy (Steve) Torrence, Jarlene Mostrom, and son-in-law Iraj Paydar, as well as grandaughter Stephanie Torrence, grandson Cyrus Paydar, and great-grandson Chris Torrence. She will be remembered for being the BEST "Gram"
in the world as well as the most loving and thoughtful wife, mother, and friend. The world will not be the same without her in it!

A service in celebration of Darlene's life will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 2 P.M. at Freeborn Lutheran Church in Stanwood. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Parkinson's disease research or the American Cancer Society.
