IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel Lynn
Booth
May 10, 1978 – November 29, 2021
Daniel Lynn Booth, loving husband, son and brother passed away unexpectedly on 29th of November.
Daniel was born on May 10th 1978 in Everett, WA, and baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Marysville. He grew up in Marysville and attended Marysville-Pilchuck high school graduating in June of 1996. After two years of military service, Daniel returned to Washington where he started a successful career in food service working for many years at Ivar's Acres of Clams, and then Jackson's Food Stores. Everywhere he worked, Daniel was recognized and admired for his work ethics, fairness, and his relentlessness to do the right thing every time.
Daniel was an avid runner, loved sports especially basketball, loved long walks and hiking, and hated shortcuts, whether on his way up on the Mailbox Peak Trail or building a ramp in the back yard; he would say "No pain, no gain!".
But above all, his true passion in life was fishing. Daniel had a knack for finding the right fishing spot on every river and easily out-fished all the other fishermen. He took great pride in bringing home big salmon and imparted his love for fishing with everyone he could, including his nephew Caleb, by teaching and taking him on fishing trips, or simply by letting young kids reel in his catch on the riverbank. He was well known around the Nisqually River and Cowlitz River for his fishing skills and recognized by the bright yellow chair he always had with him while fishing. He loved spending evenings watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and tie hooks preparing for the next fishing trip.
Daniel leaves behind love of his life and wife of 15 years, Raluca, parents Mary Jo and Darryl Booth, brother Mark, sister Carrie and numerous nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, Daniel would hope that we will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness to remember him.
We will always love you and miss you, and always carry you in our hearts!
Rest in Peace my Love!
