Craig Riggs, beloved husband, father and friend died February 26th of sudden cardiac arrest. He was 75.

Craig was born May 17th, 1948 in West Seattle, the second of five children to Merriman and Lucyle Riggs. He graduated from Chief Sealth High School and then Western Washington University. The majority of his career was spent in social services as a career counselor.

Craig was an avid tennis player, swimmer, bike rider (he completed the S.T.P. 3 times, including a one day ride) and overall Seattle sports fan.

Craig had a strong faith and was active in church communities his whole life. He had much enthusiasm for life's gifts: family (especially his two granddaughters), friends, watching a good ball game and maintaining a well kept yard!

Craig is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tammy, sons, Daylen and Micah (Zoe), daughter Megan, granddaughters Ava and Tegan, brother Brian (Suanne), sister Camille (Chris) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Brad and Mark.

Craig will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends.

A memorial service to remember Craig will be held March 9th at 1:00pm at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church (1511 E. Broadway, Mount Vernon WA, 98274). Memorials can be made to Lion Heart Heroes Foundation or Missions at MVPC.
