Obituary
Clifford was born October 23, 1917 in Fortuna, North Dakota and died in his sleep November 10, 2015 in Mt. Vernon, WA.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II and married Phyllis (Horgen) Peterson on February 21, 1951. He had a long and successful career as a Seattle mortgage banker, first with Sparkman & McLean, then retiring from a subsidiary of Peoples Bank in 1982. He was a wonderful father to his three sons Donald, Norris (Mary) and Paul (Jolene).
He was preceded in death by his parents Hans and Dora Peterson, his brother Harlin Peterson and by his wife Phyllis this past June. In addition to his sons and their extended families, he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday November 20, 2015 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Stanwood.
