Obituary

Clayton R. Haberman 94 of Stanwood died Saturday April 29, 2017.
He was born October 12, 1922 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William and Rose Haberman.
He graduated from Washington high School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He met and married Joan Luxford in 1945 they together received their MD degree at the same time from the University of Wisconsin, in 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Clayton served in the US army during WWII.
He did his residency in Clinical and Anatomical Pathology at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Clayton Joined Dr. Emanuell Bitar, MD inpractice of Pathology in Everett, WA 1987, he also joined Medical Staffs of General Hospital of Everett and Providence Hospital in Everett, WA in 1987.
Over the year was president of the Medical Staffs at both hospitals, he was the first president of the combined Hospitals staff prior to the joining of the two Hospitals.
Clayton was active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, he was the recipient of the Master gardener of the year award, 2004 in Snohomish County, A member of the Enological Society of Seattle, The Quilceda Wood Carvers, the Everett Ski Club and enjoyed a Glass of Red wine,and Working at the Happy Valley Tree farm for the past 45 Years,also running the chainsaw.Clayton was also active in the Evergreen Council, Boy Scouts of America. recipient of the Silver Beaver Award.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of 51 Years, his Daughter Nan Haberman Brock (Dave), Scott Haberman (Mary) as well as three grandson; Clayton Brock, Alec and Jay Haberman and many close relatives in Wisconsin.
Clayton was preceded in death by his first wife Joan in a tragic car accident, and a son Mark from diabetes complications.
A family memorial service will be held on July 4th 2017 in Wisconsin.
