IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christina Mae
Brown
April 25, 1985 – October 15, 2025
Christina Mae (VanDunk) Brown, 40, of Marysville, Washington, passed away on October 15, 2025. She was born on April 25, 1985, in Everett, Washington, to Cameron VanDunk Sr. and Donna VanDunk.
Christina was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose love ran deep for those closest to her. She found joy in the simple things—gardening, tending to her yard, and expressing herself through journaling and coloring, which she used as a form of peace and reflection. Christina had begun writing a book about her life, hoping that her words would one day help others who faced similar struggles.
Her children, Bentley O'Dell and Alexis VanDunk-Byrd, were the light of her life. She also cared deeply for their siblings, Raelynn, Aiden, and Jaxson, always extending her love beyond her own. Christina's compassion also reached every animal she met, as she had a tender heart for all living creatures.
She was a fiercely loyal friend and family member who stood up for what she believed in and for those she loved. Through life's challenges, Christina remained steadfast in her faith and cherished her personal relationship with Jesus. Her creativity shone through in her crafts, her writing, and her ability to bring beauty into the lives of others. One of her happiest places was by the ocean, where she found calm and connection.
Christina is survived by her parents, Cameron Sr. and Donna VanDunk; her brother, Cameron VanDunk Jr.; her beloved children, Bentley and Alexis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Aimee Fairchild.
A celebration of Christina's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 5pm. It will be located at Trinity Evangel Church. The address is 9015 44th Drive NE, Marysville Wa 98270. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of her loving and generous spirit.
Christina will be deeply missed, but her strength, love, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
