Bonita (Bonnie) Lee Wenberg passed away peacefully in her home on October 24,2017 Bonnie was born in Little Falls, Minnesota on January, 5 th 1948, to Melvin and Lillian Shadduck. She graduated from Andrews University with Bachelors in Nursing. Graduated from University of Washington with a Masters of Nursing. She loved her family, traveling, hiking, canoeing, baking and cooking, weaving baskets, sewing, and watching her grandkids. She began life in motion at Little Falls, Minnesota, enjoying growing up in a lakeside home built by her dad. At 15, she moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan with her mom and siblings where she eventually met and married her husband Ken. While on the west coast for her Master's degree they fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Though medical school and married life would take them to Mexico, California, and Michigan, eventually as planned they returned to Oregon & Washington in 1987. Where she raised 6 children, started her own business and lived her favorite song "I will follow Him" by Peggy March, with her beloved husband Ken. She is preceded in death by her Parents, her older sister Pamela (Shadduck) Williams and her grandson Wales Wenberg. Bonita is survived by her husband, of 47 years marriage, Kenneth Wenberg, her six children Erik (and wife Cynthia) Wenberg, Heidi Wenberg, Lars (and significant other Varonica Abbott) Wenberg, Peter (and life partner Sheena Shank) Wenberg, Nels Wenberg, and Mindy (and husband Trevir) Faley. She also leaves her 12 grandchildren, Sebastian, Akaina, Noah, Malychi, AnnaGrace, Mazie, Hailey, Abigail, Nickolas, Andrew, Lindsay and Ezekiel. Her two younger sisters, Terrie Myers and Candice Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life for Bonita will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 19, 2017
At the Cedarhome Seventh-Day Adventist church, 28505 -68 th Ave NW , Stanwood, WA.
Private Family Interment in the Darrington Cememtery.
