After retirement she and Carl spent their "golden years" cris-crossing the United States in their RV, visiting family and friends. Always returning to Washington State to spend time beachcombing for shells and those special elusive agates. Betty enjoyed watching the birds and her flower garden and had the "greenest of thumbs" especially when it came to her "special roses" and she could keep a poinsettia going when others were long gone. She loved to knit and crochet and made many things for her home and family.
Betty will be remembered as a loving Mother and Grandmother with a great sense of humor, an exceptional memory and a work ethic she passed on to her entire family.
The Wade family would like to thank Stanwood Fire Department and Skagit Hospital for their care and kindness during our mother's brief illness.
