Ben D. Merrill born November 18, 1925, passed away at his home on Camano Island on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 to be with his Loving wife Ruth.

Ben is survived by his sons; David (Kim) Merrill, Douglas (Linda) Merrill and his grandchildren Nichole Ramos (Rudy) and great grandchild Lukas.

Ben was a big family man, Ben loved to go on adventures and try new things. In his early years he was an active traveler and traveled all over the World.

Ben was in the U.S. Army in WWII where he was stationed in Alaska, where he had polar bears for pets.

Ben was an active member of the Masonic, Eastern star as well as the Camano Chapel. He loved going to the Camano Senior center and playing pinochle. His smile and laugh made any room bright.

He will forever be loved and missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Camanio Masonic Lodge # 19, 27205 – 102 ^nd Ave NW Stanwood, WA 98292 at 1:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2018.
