Austin Ralph Esary was born on October 12th, 1998 in Mount Vernon, WA to Ralph and Amy Esary and lived his entire life with his two older brothers Reece and Alex in Stanwood, WA. He found peace on October 6th, 2015 in Stanwood, WA.
Austin attended Cedarhome Elementary, Stanwood Middle School, was currently a Junior at Stanwood High School and worked at Little Caesars. He was a great athlete and played many sports like soccer, golf, basketball and free-line skating. Playing select soccer brought him joy for many years. He was also a soccer referee. He was a talented dirt bike rider and raced for many years. Austin's creativity led him to designing and building drift trikes and free-line ice skates. He enjoyed steel fabricating, woodworking and computer designing. Amongst all of his sports, activities and work, he always found time to spend time with and help out his grandparents. Because Austin dealt with adversity nearly every day, he had qualities many people will never have. He was courageous, compassionate, kind and persevered.
Austin was smart, witty, thoughtful, sincere and handsome. He always thought of others on their special day and put great thought into what would make someone happy.
Spending time with his family and going on family trips made Austin very happy. He especially loved chilling with his big brothers and following them (and their friends) around in everything they did. As a result, he ended up with many big brothers. He adored Sophie our French Bulldog and they were always together. Austin was a car enthusiast/fanatic. Anything to do with cars brought him happiness. He enjoyed researching and working on cars and attended car shows. He had a passion for enhancing the performance and the look of his cars….and he was great at it. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July. He enjoyed time with his friends, specifically his best friend Andy and his girlfriend Elle, taking pride in having a job, buying his own things and having an immaculately clean car.
Austin is survived by his parents, Ralph and Amy and his two older brothers, Reece and Alex; Grandfather Tom Sheahan and his wife Judy of Bow; Grandmother Joan Sheahan of Mount Vernon: Grandmother Priscilla Esary of Burlington; Aunt Jenny Sheahan-Lee and cousins Hannah and Elsie Lee of Burlington; Aunt Shawn Wright and husband Delane and cousins Colby and Mercedes and second cousin Ryan; and numerous Step-aunts, uncles and cousins. Austin was met in heaven by his Grandfather Ralph Esary.
Austin will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, love for his family and friends and his passion for cars. He is loved, will be greatly missed but with us always.
