IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Marie
Walker
July 19, 1928 – September 28, 2023
Anna was born to Irwin and Katie LeBarron on July 19, 1928 in Bellingham, Washington. She went home to her loving Savior Jesus on Thursday evening September 28, 2023.
Anna grew up in Arlington and was fostered by the Orrs. She attended Arlington High School. She raised her family in Stanwood. She cherished time with family and enjoyed people.
She had many journeys in her lifetime but one adventure that was most unique took place in 1959 when she traveled to the Galapagos Islands with her husband Duane and their 3 children. It was an amazing experience with fun memories!
For the last 7 ½ years, she lived at Mountain Glen Retirement and Assisted Living Community in Mount Vernon which she fondly called home. Even though she struggled with cancer for the last 5 years, she remained very positive and happy the entire time.
Anna is survived by her children Rhonda (Ted) Quillin, Jackie (Mike) Barber, Mike (Cheryl) Miller, Brother Marvin Whitney and best childhood friend Elsie Pryor. Stepdaughters Betty (Gary) Burdyshaw, Midge (Jim) Eckrich, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband Duane Miller (1971) and Buck Walker (2003) and 6 siblings.
Thank you to the entire staff at Mountain Glen, Hospice, and Mount Vernon Cancer Care Center for the love that they showed her.
Inurnment will be next year on her birthday, July 19, 2024 in Arlington.
