Alvina Oline Scott

October 28, 1924 – August 5, 2018

Alvina Oline Scott, 93, passed away in her sleep at home on August 5, 2018. She left her Earthly home to be reunited with her husband Junior (Scotty). She was born in Everett, WA to Alvin and Signa Goldthorpe, and had a younger brother named Everett.

Alvina was a 1942 graduate of Everett High School. On October 9, 1943, she married Junior and they shared life together for 73 years before his passing on October 19, 2016. For a couple of years early on in their marriage, they resided in Coos Bay, Oregon, but lived most of their lives in the Everett/South Lake Stevens area. Twenty-nine years ago they moved to Camano Island after Scotty retired.

Alvina is survived by:

• Four children – Lanny Scott (Terry), Lynn Rich, Patty Pederson, and Donnie Scott (Rhonda);
• Seven grandchildren – Eric (Robin) Crowley, Connie (Chad) Stone, Richelle (Michel) Melseaux, Monica Strickland, Jackie (Dan) Raby, Greg Pederson, and Jodi (Steve) Sutton;
• Eight great grandchildren – Audric, Solenne, Aveline, Paige, Jessica (Tyler), Andrew, Michael (Lindsay), and Travis;
• Five great-great grandchildren – Jordan, Bella, Eric Scotty, Jaydon, and Easton;
• God-daughter – Brandy (Nolan) Perkl, their sons Peyton and Tripper, and Brandy's mother Lynn Hayford;

• Sister-in-laws – LaWanda Goldthorpe Burgoyne and Jean Lehman;
• And, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Signa Goldthorpe, her brother Everett Goldthorpe, and her son-in-law Bill Rich. The family would like to express special thanks to her caregivers, Hospice team, and wonderfully supportive neighbors and good friends.
