Allen Earl Wright

February 24, 1937 – April 22, 2018

Passed away peacefully knowing that the grass had been cut and the cats were fed.  Allen was born in Everett Washington and spent the entirety of his life around the Stanwood area.  Allen graduated from Stanwood High School in 1955 and went on to work in the forest service, construction industry and lastly for the Stanwood School District.  Allen served in the US Navy reserves for 8 years as an equipment operator and was honorably discharged in 1962.  In retirement Allen loved spending time tinkering in his shop and taking naps.  Allen was a man of few words but had the heart of a giant and never thought twice to lend a helping hand.  Allen was preceded in death by his father Lewis T. Wright, mother Margaret E. Wright (Gregory) and brother Donald L. Wright.  Allen is survived by his wife of 34 years Barbara J. Wright (Conrath), sister Patricia (Tookie) E. Hartle (Wright), brother Eugene F. Wright, daughter Kelly C. Hundley (Wright), son Aaron M. Wright, son Anthony S. Conrath and four beautiful granddaughters, Trinity & Magdelina Hundley and Alice & Lucinda Wright, that he adored so very much.  Services will be held at a later time.
